Sushil Sapkota
Born in Nepal, Sushil Sapkota's entire working life revolved around the food industry. He has well over 10 years of cooking and culinary experience having worked in a variety of restaurants. Since January 2013, and up until the pandemic, Sushil occupied the senior position of a local PEI Indian restaurant - it's fair to say he has hands on experience with various kinds of ethnic cooking.
His career started in 2009 when he had the opportunity to conduct traineeships at the The Good Neighbour Club and Milagro Mexicano in Toronto. He quickly worked his way up through these prestigious establishments, notably with Chef Victor De Guzman at the Rosedale Gulf Club, where he picked up specialist cooking knowledge and techniques.
Sushil holds a Culinary diploma from George Brown College as well as an Attestation of Vocational Specialization (ASP) in pastry.
